Fairfax County Police arrested two suspects for carjacking in Annandale.

On Jan. 11 at about 1:45 a.m., officers responded to the 7400 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale for a carjacking. The victim reported that a known suspect, who had been riding inside the victim’s vehicle, brandished a firearm and demanded that he exit the vehicle after an argument.

Officers located the vehicle nearby and, after a short pursuit, took Harold Isaias Alvarado Vigil, 19, of Annandale, and a 17-year-old juvenile male into custody.

The juvenile, who had been picked up shortly before the incident, was driving the vehicle. Alvarado Vigil was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with Carjacking. He was held on no bond. Petitions for Eluding and Driving Without a License are forthcoming for the 17-year-old.
