Police report shooting in Annandale

Fairfax County Police reports a shooting in the 4200 block of Annandale Road in Annandale at 1:30 a.m. on April 12.

The victim and a male suspect engaged in a verbal altercation inside a restaurant that became physical. When the victim left in a vehicle, the suspect got into a Toyota sedan and began following. The suspect took out a firearm and shot the victim’s vehicle.

The victim was struck by gunfire and taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening. Several spent cartridge cases were found in the roadway, and the victim’s vehicle sustained damage.
