Police seek murder suspect
The Fairfax County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating murder suspect Javon Reid.
Reid, 32, of Maryland, is wanted for the fatal shooting of Maurice Anderson, 24, of Washington, D.C., on May 7, 2023, shortly before 2:30 a.m., at the Build America Plaza on S. George Mason Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads.
Reid is wanted for second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about Reid’s whereabouts to call the Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800, option 2. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Solvers. Tipsters could be eligible for a cash reward.

As long as this violent murderer is still around, we are not safe. I hope he gets captured AND executed soon. >(
He will be out in a few years. The average time served for murder is 13 years. This is 2nd degree murder, so it ought to be on the low end of sentencing.
