Police seek power tool burglars
Fairfax County Police are seeking the community’s help in identifying burglary suspects who stole power tools from businesses in Annandale, Merrifield, Alexandria, and Chantilly.
On Sept. 16, at 4:33 a.m., officers responded to the 7300 block of McWhorter Place in Annandale for a burglary report. Two suspects had broken into the business and stole tools and power equipment.
On Dec. 15, officers responded to burglary reports between 1 and 3:30 a.m. at several locations, including the 5600 block of General Washington Drive in the Alexandria section of Mason District, the 8100 block of Gatehouse Road in Merrifield, and two locations on Lowe Street in Chantilly.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division believe the suspects in those burglaries are connected to the Sept. 16 incident in Annandale.
