Popeyes opens in Bailey’s Crossroads
There’s a new place to get chicken in Bailey’s Crossroads. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is now open at 5896 Leesburg Pike.
It’s smaller than the Popeyes in Annandale and doesn’t have a drive-through, but the menu is the same. Popular items include chicken sandwiches, nuggets, tenders, popcorn shrimp, wings, biscuits, red beans and rice, mac and cheese, and Cajun fries.
A sign on the door says it’s open daily 10 a.m.-10 p.m. The building, completely renovated, was formerly a mattress store.

I love Popeyes! I don’t over do it, only indulge about once a month because my waistline is already larger than I would like. But it is delicious, especially the red beans and rice.
