A 30-year-old man from Falls Church was assaulted on Sept. 3, shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of S. George Mason Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads.
A man walked behind the victim, cut his upper body with a straight razor, and drove away. The victim was treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening. This does not appear to be a random act.
Two juveniles assaulted a victim in the 4900 block of Americana Road in Annandale shortly before 1 a.m. on Sept. 5. They displayed a handgun and attempted, unsuccessfully, to take property. The victim was treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening.
There was a robbery on Sept. 8 shortly after 1:30 p.m. by the Beauregard Street/Little River Turnpike intersection in Lincolnia. A man asked a victim for money. When the victim refused, the man displayed a knife, took his money, and damaged his property.
