Recent crimes: weapons violation, robbery
The Fairfax County Police Department reports the following recent crimes in Mason District:
After waking up, a man found a bullet hole through his curtain and window at about 9 a.m. on March 26. Police recovered a bullet inside the residence in the 6000 block of Knollwood Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads.
Two men robbed the Home Depot at 6210 Seven Corners Centers shortly before 5:30 p.m. on March 26. They took merchandise past the point of sale without paying. When confronted by a store employee, one of the men assaulted the employee. The men left the area in a white work van. No injuries were reported.
Capital Cigar & Tobacco, at 6544 Little River Turnpike in Pinecrest Plaza, was robbed shortly after 4:40 p.m. on March 29. Three men entered the business and took merchandise with force. No one was injured.
