Robbers hit four gas stations within minutes
Three gas stations in Lincolnia and one in Annandale were robbed last night within minutes of one another, probably by the same suspects, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.
In each case, two suspects entered the stores, went behind the counter, and stole money and merchandise, the FCPD says. No weapons were seen in the robberies.
Here’s the timeline:
- At approximately 9:22 p.m. on Nov. 12, two suspects stole cigarettes from behind the counter at the Exxon station at 6550 Edsall Road.
- Ten minutes later, two suspects stole money from the cash register and cigarettes from the Speedway gas station at 7100 Little River Turnpike in Lincolnia.
- The Shell station at 7413 Little River Turnpike in Lincolnia was robbed shortly before 9:40 p.m. Two suspects assaulted the clerk and took cigarettes and other items. The clerk sustained minor injuries.
- At 9:49 p.m. two suspects attempted to take cash from the register at the 3United Gas Station (A-1 Auto Care) at 4316 Ravensworth Road in Annandale but were unsuccessful. They then took miscellaneous food items from the store.

One of the suspects was described as a skinny Black man wearing a blue jacket, tan hoodie, and black jeans and approximately 5’11”. The other suspect was described as a Black man wearing a black hoodie, black jacket, and black jeans and approximately 5’8″. The suspects were seen leaving in a gray Hyundai Elantra.

Thank goodness these were targeted, isolated incidents with no threat remains to the community.
These thugs need to be caught quickly and put behind bars for a long long time.
They will continue this same activity time and time again until they are caught and arrested.
Hope the clerk at Pinecrest Shell is okay. Solid shop and everyone there has been nothing but great to me.
