Rotary Club seeks volunteers to assemble school supply kits

The Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads invites community members to help put together school supplies for kids tomorrow.

The club’s annual “Great Assembly” will be at the Arlington Moose Lodge at 5710 Scoville St., in Bailey’s Crossroads on Saturday, July 29, starting at noon.

The goal is to fill 2,000 back-to-school kits for students in the Justice High School pyramid. Nearly 100 volunteers participated in the 2022 Great Assembly.

“The Great Assembly is a fun and hands-on event suitable for all age groups,” says Vilma Blanco-Pacheco of the Rotary Club. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in just a few short hours.”
