during your wedding planning will come as you set out to search for your
wedding venue – that one special place where you have dreamed of saying “I do”
to the love of your life.
This could be any place, from a grand ballroom that takes your breath away to the warm embrace of a beautiful garden setting, to everything in between. There is such a thing as a perfect venue. It will make your heart skip a beat when you walk in . . . just listen to the song in your heart.
Having said all that, oh yeah, selecting your wedding venue is a pretty big deal, especially if you are still working out your wedding budget. But it does not have to be all that daunting.
Here is a bite-size recommendation for your happy planning. Your can put wedding venues into two categories: all-inclusive and quasi-inclusive. Regardless of your preference of type of venue, you do have choices and you are the final decision maker – always remember that. Here are a couple of nearby wedding venues we scoped out as examples for your special day.

An all-inclusive venue
We love the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church as an example of an all-inclusive venue. The expansive garden landscape surrounding the property is sure to be the star of that heart-skipping-a-beat sensation.
When you are working with an all-inclusive venue you will find that you can knock out some of the biggest items – venue, catering, and decor – in one place. In the case of the Fairview Park Marriott, it is also a premier hotel and can take care of all your out-of-town guests.
There is an advantage when you book rooms and venue at an all-inclusive wedding venue such as this gem of a place. Be sure to take a tour and ask as many questions as you need to about what is included and what are add-ons. You would be surprised how an all-inclusive venue can fit into your wedding budget.
A quasi-inclusive venue
Open garden spaces like Green Spring Gardens are a wonderful venue for a smaller and more intimate wedding. We absolutely love this best kept secret at the eastern edge of Annandale.
A quasi-inclusive wedding venue may have some amenities such as a kitchen that your caterer can use.
While there are larger garden settings for gorgeous weddings, Green Spring Gardens could work for all sorts of wedding-related possibilities. It’s a perfect place to ditch it all and have an elopement wedding or take your wedding portraits in between your wedding ceremony and reception at other locations. The sky is truly the limit!
