Covering Annandale, Bailey's Crossroads, Lincolnia, and Seven Corners in Fairfax County, Virginia

Stuff the Bus will be at Annandale Giant Feb. 1

There’s always lots of volunteers lending a hand to our
neediest residents during the holiday season, but donations to food pantries
tend to drop off after the new year.
That’s why the Fairfax County Stuff the Bus campaign is so
important. A Fastran bus will be at various locations throughout the county
over the next few weekends to collect food for local food pantries.

On Saturday, Feb. 1, the bus will be at the Annandale Giant,
at 7137 Columbia Pike, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. As you shop for groceries, pick up a
few extra items for the needed. Food donated by the public will be distributed
to local families by volunteers with Annandale Christian Community for Action.

The Stuff the Bus campaign, now in its fourth year, is a
partnership of the Fairfax County government, local grocery stores, and
nonprofits to serve the growing population of households that don’t have access
to healthy food on a regular basis.
