Taco Rock now open in Pinecrest Plaza
Taco Rock, a restaurant specializing in creative tacos and
tequila cocktails, had a soft opening earlier this week at 6550 Little River
Turnpike in Pinecrest Plaza. There will be a grand opening on Wednesday, Jan.
13.
The menu offers tacos with fried chicken, sesame-crusted ahi
tuna, mushrooms, and tequila-battered grouper, as well as more traditional
ingredients. Other items include ceviche, birria ramen, elote (street corn), and
puff blue chips.
Taco Rock’s opening was delayed a few weeks, while co-owner
and chef Mike Cordero recovered from COVID-19. His son and co-owner Nick
Cordero had a mild case of COVID last summer.

This is the second Taco Rock restaurant; the first one is in Rosslyn.
Taco Rock is open Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-midnight, and Sunday 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
Looks like a cool place and a bit upscale for the dump. This is all good news, maybe we will climb out of the dumpiness of Mason with new and hip places popping up.

Troll, rinse, repeat.
Great news and glad to see the owner of this plaza invest in renovations which bring in establishments like this. There is demand.
This is wonderful news! I can't wait!
