Man stabbed in Bailey’s Crossroads
A was stabbed in the upper body as he was standing outside a business in the 3800 block of S. George Mason Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads shortly after midnight on April 20, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
Man arrested for reckless driving, child endangerment, weapons
The Fairfax County Police Department’s weekly crime report includes an incident in Annandale involving a vehicle pursuit, weapons violation, and child endangerment. Officers noticed a 1996 Honda Accord being driven recklessly at about 2:30 a.m., April 12, on Backlick Road at Braddock Road. The driver refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit.
Pedestrian killed on Arlington Boulevard
A 36-year-old man trying to cross Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) near Graham Road was struck and killed shortly after 10 p.m. on April 9. This is the third pedestrian fatality in Fairfax County in 2021.
Man attacks people at senior center
The Lincolnia Senior Center The Fairfax County Police Department reports the following recent crimes in the Annandale/Mason District area: A man entered a building at the Lincolnia Senior Center being used as a hypothermia shelter (4710 N. Police believe series of recent commercial burglaries are linked
Kogiya was burglarized on Jan. 28. Fairfax County Police Department detectives believe 15 commercial burglaries across the county since Jan. 28 might be linked. Three of the burglaries were Annandale: Naz Food, Kogiya Korean BBQ, and the Han Gang Restaurant were hit on Jan. 28.
