‘Take me to your reader’

More and more of those “Little Free Libraries” are popping up throughout the Annandale/Mason area.

Many are cutely designed, but the little robot at the corner of Patrick Henry Drive and Annaliese Drive in the Ravenwood Park neighborhood in Seven Corners has to be the most unusual.

The little red boxes are actually tiny libraries that encourage neighborliness, as well as reading. People who take a book are encouraged to add another one. Learn more about the concept here.

  1. Belvedere Elementary School will have a new Little Free Library at the beginning of this school year, courtesy of our Girl Scout Troop! It's for the entire community, so please come and take (or leave) a book!

    1. Yea! Though I hate to part with my books, I'll be sure to donate. Where on the property will the Little Library be located?

  2. Love this one! I am #LFL27546 in Falls Church near Annandale Rd. and Rte 50. LFLs definitely promote neighborliness and reading!
