Teacher arrested for child pornography possession

Christopher Jordan, an eighth-grade English teacher at Holmes Middle School, was arrested July 20 and charged with six counts of possession of child pornography, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.

Jordan, 24, is a resident of Centreville. He has been employed by Fairfax County since 2016. He will not be returning in the fall.

The FCPD Child Exploitation Unit is continuing its investigation in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Romanoff with the Major Crimes Division, at 703-246-7800. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Solvers.
