There are just a few more concerts at Mason District parks

With summer winding down, there are only a few more chances to catch an evening performance in the Spotlight by Starlight entertainment series.

There are three more shows at the amphitheater in Mason District Park in Annandale.

The swing band, Natty Beaux, will perform Wednesday, Aug. 16. John McCutcheon, a folk music singer/songwriter, appears on Friday, Aug. 18.

The last show of the summer at Mason District Park, on Sunday, Aug. 20, features bluegrass duo Frank Solivan & Jillian Lea.

There’s only one more performance at Ossian Hall Park: On Saturday, Aug. 19, Alt Washingtonia Schuhplattler Verein will present music and dance at Bavarian Cultural Heritage Night. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at 7900 Heritage Drive in Annandale.

There are two more children’s shows presented by the Park Authority: the grandsons jr. at 10 a.m. at Mason District Park and Geoff Marsh, a juggler and puppet master, at Wakefield Park at 10 a.m.
