Think spring: Flower and plant sale benefits Annandale PTSA

The annual Annandale High School PTSA Flower Madness Plant Sale is now underway.
Orders must be placed by April 16. Visit the Flower Madness section on the Annandale PTSA website to submit orders. Plants can be picked up at the school on May 4.
The PTSA Plant Sale Committee works with a reputable wholesale nursery to provide high-quality plants at low prices, says plant sale coordinator Laurie Lindberg. A variety of annuals, bedding plants, and perennials is available. The hanging baskets are big, bold, and bursting with color—and they make great Mothers Day gifts, she says.
Sale proceeds benefit PTSA-sponsored activities, including the All Night Grad Celebration, field trips, the science fair, and teacher support materials.
“Take a moment to consider the different areas of your yard,” Lindberg suggests. “Do you have dry shade? clay soil? areas baked by the hot afternoon sun? Or maybe you want to reclaim an area covered with ivy or create a rain garden? Do you like to design your own container gardens? With these low prices, you can realize your dream garden or have fun experimenting. The Plant Sale Committee is happy to work with you to order flowers and plants to fit your yard and your budget.”
