Three dead as a result of murder-suicide

Updated 1:53 p.m. A man shot and killed another man and a woman and then fatally shot himself at gathering at a home in the 8600 block of Cromwell Drive in the Kings Park neighborhood of Springfield March 2. Fairfax County police responded to the incident at about 11:45 p.m.
The victims of the shooting have been identified as Santos Vladimir Ralda, 45 and his wife, Floridalma Youlanda Perez Diaz, 40, both of Springfield, and Nathanael Owen Cooper, 20, of Culloden, W.Va. Preliminarily, detectives believe that there was an argument prior to the shooting and that the husband shot his wife and Cooper. All three were acquainted with one another.
There were approximately 10 people at the residence at the time of the shootings, including several children.
