Town Hall on COVID-19 vaccination strategy next week

The community is invited to a COVID-19 Town Hall hosted by Supervisor James Walkinshaw (Braddock), on Feb. 22, 7 p.m. 

Dr. Gloria Addo-Ayensu, director of the Fairfax County Department of Health, will discuss the county’s vaccine rollout and vaccination distribution strategy.

The town hall will be streamed live on the Channel 16 website and on Walkinshaw’s Facebook page and televised on Channel 16, (Cox channel 1016; Verizon/Comcast channel 16).

Addo-Ayensu and Walkinshaw will answer residents’ questions live. Submit questions in advance to [email protected] and use “COVID town hall” in the email subject line. Residents can also submit questions to Walkinshaw’s Facebook Live comments section or by calling Channel 16’s live phone line at 703-324-1114 during the event.

After the town hall, a video recording will be available on Walkinshaw’s YouTube channel and an audio-only recording will be available on Soundcloud.
