Turkish dessert shop coming to Annandale

The future home of Pasha Café.

Pasha Castle, a dessert, ice cream, and tea shop in Georgetown, is opening a second location in Annandale. The café will open in a building being renovated at 7228 Columbia Pike.

Pasha Castle specializes in Turkish desserts, such as baklava and lokum, a sweet gel-like confectionary made of sugar and starch with various flavors and add-ons like pistachios and chopped dates. It opened at 3279½ M St., N.W. in spring 2023.

The café’s new location in Annandale has already been painted a bright purplish red after Impact Roofing vacated the space and moved to Lorton. Before that, the building housed Kiara Dominican Hairstyle, which has relocated to Backlick Road in Annandale.

    1. Seems that it was taken off the market already some time ago. Maybe it was Kiara Dominican Hairstyle who took it off the market? Or someone even before them. Don’t understand your point?

    2. LOL! Sheeet..50 years ago, my dentist’s office was in a little house right around the corner–that portion of Columbia Pike has been a commercial district for AGES! How long have you been here?
