Vietnamese community celebrates Moon Festival at Eden Center

Hundreds of people from the entire D.C. region came to the Eden Center on a rainy afternoon, Saturday, Sept. 21, to celebrate the annual Moon Festival. The sixth annual Moon Festival at the Vietnamese shopping center in Seven Corners included a lion dance, the 2013 Miss Vietnam D.C. contest (won by Vicenta Hanh Phuoc Tran), the Eden Idol singing contest for children, a children’s art contest, crafts, lanterns, and prizes, as festival-goers cruised the mall for moon cakes, bubble tea, and more.
