The Taste of Annandale needs volunteers

Help make the Taste of Annandale a success,  

The Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services has developed a sign-up process outlining several shift options for volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly.

The Taste of Annandale is a family-friendly street festival on Sept. 20, 2025, 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m., at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space, at 7200 Columbia Pike.

We need people to help with the vendors, the children’s activities, the entertainment, and to provide general help where needed.

Volunteers are also needed to help out with the Taste of Annandale 5K at Mason District Park, 6621 Columbia Pike. There are openings for people to check in the runners, beginning at 8 a.m., and to help ensure runners stay on the course.

For high school students, volunteering at the Taste of Annandale is a good way to earn community service hours. The minimum age is 14.
