Weekend crimes include auto theft, drugs, assault

A man from Fort Washington, Md., was arrested in the 4200 block of Hummer Road in Annandale for auto theft and drug possession at 10:15 p.m. on Feb. 17, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.
An officer doing a check in a parking lot ran a license plate that came back as stolen. When officers searched the driver, they found illegal narcotics. Reggie Recasas, age 31, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute schedule I/II drugs, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of a stolen auto.
Police arrested an Arlington man, Aaron Mulapi, age 18, for robbery at about 5:25 p.m. on Feb. 18. The incident occurred in the 6100 block of Arlington Boulevard in Seven Corners.

The victim had his money out as Mulapi grabbed it and attempted to run, FCPD reports. The victim then tried to grab Mulapi to stop him. A 16-year-old male then jumped on the victim and hit him.
Both Mulapi and the 16-year-old ran but were later caught by the police. Mulapi was charged with robbery, and the 16-year-old was released to a parent pending charges.
On Feb. 19, police responded to a call about a malicious wounding that occurred in an apartment complex in the 6000 block of Knollwood Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads between 10 and 10:15 p.m. An 18-year-old had been stabbed several times but the victim provided little information. The investigation is ongoing.
There was another malicious wounding on Feb. 18 at about 10:47 on Leesburg Pike and Row Street. A man who had been involved in a fight was stabbed. He was treated at a local hospital.

Sounds like we need a force field like on star trek. Thank goodness our police were on this individual. Good job FFX police. Forget the Trump wall and the prisons, just helicopter him and drop him in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean with the sharks, where he will feel right at home.
