Wendy’s is getting a makeover

The front of Wendy’s is covered in plastic.

The Wendy’s at 7530 Little River Turnpike in Annandale is closed for indoor dining while the restaurant is being renovated. The pick-up window remains open.

The seating area is being remodeled. The project is expected to be completed in two or three months.

    1. Good grief, I just looked the word up in the Oxoford, and Marian Webster dictionaries. No such reference to racial supremacy or patriarchy.

  1. It’s essentially a public bathroom facility for the day laborers and homeless of the area who the BoS so desperately wants to attract to the Mason Dstrct. This is just a way to make them feel welcome since the post office is no longer servings as their toilet. How did we get here? What a difference a few decades of decline can do to a once lovely residential community. Even 50 thrift stores, and a million car clubs can’t fix this area.

    1. Leave if you hate it so much. I’m tired of you haters. There’s good here too. Must every single article on this site get turned into something negative?

      1. I gave up on these yahoos a while ago, Mark. Some people just want to moan and will never see the good.

  2. I LOVE Wendy’s. They actually have vegetables in the form of several delicious salads (even my picky little grandkids will eat them). There are other healthy choices available, like baked potatoes, as well as the usual fast food staples. I think the key tag offered at the beginning of the year is still available to get free or $1 mini Frostys—just the right size for kids or satisfying a sweet tooth without overindulging. I also see tables of sweet elderly folks that gather in the afternoons for food and socializing. The ladies room is always clean, and I’m glad day laborers and homeless use the bathrooms. Beats them doing their business outside!
