Whitson wins Republican Primary for Congress

Stewart Whitson [Foundation for Government Accountability]

Republican voters in Virginia’s 11th Congressional District selected Stewart Whitson to vie for the late Gerry Connolly’s seat in the House of Representatives.

Whitson beat six other Republicans in a firehouse primary at Fairfax High School on June 28.

Whitson will be on the ballot in a special election on Sept. 9, along with Braddock Supervisor James Walkinshaw, the winner of the  Democratic Primary.

An Army veteran and former FBI agent, Whitson is the senior director of federal affairs at the Foundation for Government Accountability, a conservative think tank.

A strong Trump supporter, Whitson’s top priorities are eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse; making DOGE permanent; getting DEI out of the schools and government agencies; and securing the borders.

If elected, he vows to “help President Trump advance the America First agenda on day one.” In testimony before Congress, he called for Trump to be given the power to end civil service protections for federal employees.

He lives in Great Falls with his wife, Melissa, and their five children.

  1. Whitson has my vote, but Spanberger will win and help the deep state try to unconstitutionally disarm law-abiding Virginians.

    1. This is an absolutely hilarious comment. Not only is Spanberger not running for the 11th congressional seat, she isn’t running for congress or any Federal level elected office.

So yes, go ahead and keep saying this conspiracy theory stuff. Makes you look real smart 😆.

  2. Sounds like a great platform that builds on the success of the Trump administration. Good luck Mr. Whitson!
