Woman sexually assaulted in Annandale

A 27-year-old woman was sexually assaulted Feb. 28 in Annandale, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.
The victim reported she was moving out of her apartment around 3 p.m. on the 7900 block of John Adams Court and was walking back and forth from the parking lot when a man approached her.
He asked if she needed help. She thought that was suspicious, as she did not know him. Approximately an hour later, she was in the apartment, when the same man came in through an open door, grabbed her, implied he had a knife, forced her to undress, and sexually assaulted her.
A neighbor heard the victim screaming and entered the apartment to intervene. The suspect pulled the neighbor, a 37-year-old woman, to the ground by her hair and ran off toward Rectory Lane. Both victims needed medical attention, and were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred near Braddock Elementary School.

arrested at about 3:45 p.m. on March 1. He was taken to police
headquarters for questioning. Ahmed will then be taken to the Adult Detention
Center and charged with abduction with intent to defile, burglary with intent
to defile, object sexual penetration, forcible sodomy, aggravated sexual
battery, and attempted object sexual penetration.

We as a community deserve better than this. Thanks for the sad reminder to call police for ANY suspicious behavior spotted.
I'm glad the women's physical injuries were minor; I hope that they can get help treating their trauma.
Bless this lady for what she went through. This poor women will remember this for ever. My hope is that she can try to leave this incident behind her much easier said then done. I could not imagine.
This is what happens when you live in a County that does not enforce their laws. Living in a Santuary County where your BOS says that the door is open to everyone you get more criminals.

He is garbage, whether he is a citizen or not, deport him or send him to a corner in a room in the white house where he will for sure get just punishment. Better yet send to visit Vladimir.
^ Agreed. He is absolutely disgusting, deplorable, and dangerous. However, to automatically assume he's illegal is a knee-jerk reaction that's often voiced on this site and others. Our entire society needs a poke in the ribs–or a full-voltage cattle prod–now and then to promote critical thinking!
Crimes like this shatter the perception of safety and security in our community. Yeah the name of the accused makes us jump at the chance to say send em' back AFTER he does 30 years and is on the "registry" for life. VA has the rocket docket – and if found guilty – he is doomed. Then in prison it will be his turn to get raped, abused, and of course rehabilitated.
What makes me wonder is that he is 20 years old, and IF he grew up around here he should be in community college or working in plenty of jobs we have around instead of stalking and assaulting. This area has so much opportunity and he blew it.
You have to wonder what was going on in his mind when he was thinking – should I do this or shouldn't I ?
