Woman sexually assaulted in Bailey’s Crossroads

A 50-year-old woman was abducted and sexually assaulted in Bailey’s Crossroads sometime between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. on Oct. 22, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.

According to a police investigation, the victim met two men at a restaurant on the 5800 block of Columbia Pike and they left together in a mini-van similar to an older Honda Odyssey and headed toward Arlington. While in the van, both suspects sexually assaulted the woman. A handgun was displayed during the assault.

The suspects took the victim’s phone and forced her out of the van somewhere along Route 50 near S. Manchester Street. She flagged down a passerby, who called police.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was medically evaluated and released late Sunday afternoon.

The suspects were described as Hispanic. One was around 30 years old, 5 feet 2 to 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a slim build. The other suspect was in his early 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with an athletic build.
