Woman stabbed at bus stop in Annandale
Roesller |
The long list of crimes in the Fairfax County Police Department’s weekend crime report includes several incidents in the Annandale/Mason District area.
A woman was stabbed at the bus stop in front of Kmart on John Marr Drive at about 4:35 p.m. on Jan. 29.
Peter Roesller, 31, of no fixed address, was taken to the Adult Detention Center and charged with larceny and malicious wounding. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for serious injuries.
According to the FCPD, he made advances toward her at the bus stop. When she refused him, he went into a nearby store, stole a knife, and stabbed her multiple times. He fled on foot, but was quickly located and arrested.
On Jan. 28, at about 12:20 a.m., an officer saw a man exit the Nuevo Pueblo bar on Leesburg Pike in Bailey’s Crossroads and expose himself. The officer attempted to talk to him, but the suspect refused to cooperate. Porfirio Rodriguez, 22, of Falls Church, was arrested, taken to the Adult Detention Center and charged with indecent exposure and drunk in public.
A 25-year-old man was the victim of armed robbery. He was walking home along Glen Carlyn Drive by Vista Drive at about 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 27, when he was approached by another man who displayed a knife and demanded cash. The victim gave the suspect his phone, and the suspect ran away. The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 20 years old, and wearing dark clothing.
A teenager was arrested for auto theft at about 2 a.m. on Jan. 29 on Ravensworth Road/Gresham Street in North Springfield close to the Braddock Road exit on the beltway. Following a police pursuit, a 17-year-old boy who was driving a stolen car was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with DWI, speed to elude, driving without a license, possession of tobacco by a minor, possession of stolen goods, and driving without lights. A 16-year-old girl who was in the car was released to a guardian.
What scares me is that many of these incidents occur in broad daylight….and that stabbing was so brazen. Good grief…..
Will this person be deported under the new Executive Order?
When we have a Mason District Supervisor who encourages these type of people to come this is what we get. As she said we can not shut the doors on anyone.
Deport!!!
