There’s a new healthcare option for women in Annandale. The Elite Gynecology Center will open on Feb. 21 at 3301 Woodburn Road, Suite 309.

The founder, Dr. Nadine Hammoud, provides preventive care, annual exams, screenings, and minimally invasive surgery. She addresses such issues as abnormal periods, pelvic pain, birth control, menopause, hormonal disorders, infections, infertility, sexual health, and much more.

A resident of Annandale for the past 10 years, Hammoud says she likes the diversity of the community and intends to provide personalized care to women of all cultures in a safe and comfortable environment.

Hammoud understands that many women feel uncomfortable going to a gynecologist. As a native of Lebanon, she knows firsthand about women who are afraid to go to a male doctor or who think they should just endure such conditions as excessive bleeding or incontinence.

“I treat women how I want to be treated and how I want my family to be treated,” she says. “Quality of life is very important to me.”

So far, Hammoud is the sole physician at the Elite Gynecology Center. She plans to bring on a nurse practitioner and a physician assistant and, eventually, another gynecologist.

  1. What a great addition to the community! I too have heard good things about Dr. Hammoud. I hope this encourages underserved women and girls to get the healthcare they need in a caring environment.
