Stuart Pyramid School Resource Fair scheduled for Aug. 10 at Stuart High School

elementary and middle schools that feed into JEB Stuart High School are invited
to the third annual Stuart Pyramid School Resource Fair Aug. 10, 1-5
p.m., at Stuart.
The fair will have
free school supplies, books, health screenings, haircuts, and back-to-school
clothes for kids plus information for parents about community and school resources. The goal is to ensure 100 percent of local students start the 2017
school year ready to learn.
Tree, Belvedere, Glen Forest, Parklawn, and Sleepy Hollow elementary schools;
Glasgow Middle School; and Stuart High School. More than 67 percent of students
in the pyramid qualify for free or reduced-price school meals.

Neighborhood and Community Services and Fairfax County Public Schools. Many community organizations, businesses, and individuals have donated funds and services to make the event a success.

After the School Resource Fair, on Aug. 12, the Rotary Club will help Britepaths distribute school supplies for students in the Stuart pyramid and a few other nearby
schools. The staging site for that event will be at Glen Forest Elementary
School in Bailey’s Crossroads.
