Smoke & Vapor Planet opens in Annandale
Another vape shop is now open in Annandale. Smoke & Vapor Planet is located at 4425 John Marr Drive next to Duck Chang’s. A grand opening is planned for Sept. 15.
The shop sells vaporizers, disposable vapes, glass water pipes, hookah pipes and supplies, CBD products, cigarettes, cigars, smoking accessories, incense, and more. Exotic snacks will be added to the mix. Customers must be over 21.
Manager Sabih Alsabah promises “great prices and exceptional service.” All products are “100 percent authentic.”
The store is open 10 a.m.-midnight Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.-11 p.m. on Sunday.

Smoke & Vapor Planet is the third vape shop to open in Annandale in the last six months, although Alsibah says planning for the new store started a year ago. There are at least 10 vape shops in the Annandale/Mason District area.
Alsabah says “competition is good for business.”
Vape shops in Annandale are giving Title loans a run for their money as the area’s lead businesses. What a downstream retail environment this area is now offering.
I’ve passed this plaza hundreds of times over the last 20 years on my way to work, and I’ve never seen the plaza with this much traffic with this new place open. Yeah, we should cater to old people with places like Ann Sandra and Party Co, redundant stores that do not really add value to the community. Where’s the proof? They are now out of business. Or better yet, we should go to rundown places struggling to stay in business because they can’t adapt to the evolution of our current business world. You must innovate in the new world.
Ann Sandra’s didn’t go out of business. They moved to a more upscale location – one that doesn’t have vape stores and loan shops every 50 feet.
According to your butthead statement, Annandale is 7.8 square miles. Therefore, you must convert square miles to square feet for the surface area of Annandale. When you convert 7.8 square miles to square feet for the surface area of Annandale, Annandale will be 217,451,520 square feet. Take 217,451,520 square feet and place a vape shop every 50 feet, and according to your knucklehead statement, there are 2.175 MILLION vape shops (rounded to nearest ten thousandth decimal) in Annandale. In reality, Annandale has 4 shops, but you are acting like there are 2.175 million shops. You must be so triggered!!!!!! Geographer out, Too-da-loo!

Cue the Bed Bath and Beyond store closures and refinancing to stay in business that are currently unwinding. Maybe you should wind down your curtains and stay in your own lane. I’m speaking for trees, not curtains and linens!
If you think they sold curtains and linens, then you clearly weren’t in the group who went there to shop. They had seriously upscale crystal, porcelain and other goods at discounted prices. You could always find wonderful gifts for weddings, family and friends there. I’ll miss them always.
Let me say, I don’t think this is a bad addition to the area. I met the guy that manages this place and he’s a very educated and kind young gentleman. He had some great perdomo cigars and he’s bringing something new and innovative to the area. The products are definitely smoke products which aren’t the best health-wise, but they’re a delicacy for a lot of people. I’ve never heard of a family perish in a car accident from someone vaping like people who drink alcohol. What about bars and shops who sell alcohol to underage? Let’s be fair
No. You are right. Let’s be fair. Death can take years of smoking to accomplish and for exposure to second hand smoke to kick in. And it can impact those around you like friends and loved ones or your neighbors. But as long as he’s a nice guy and they have your cigars I guess that’s all that really matters.

@Underage Teen, you must be 21+ not only to purchase anything from our store, but also to enter our store. We taking ID’ing very very strictly and we have absolutely no tolerance for any and all underage sales. Moreover, even though we don’t consider Capital Cigar & Tobacco to be our competitor, they are nice people and we have nothing against them or any other tobacco shop near us, or any tobacco shop in Virginia for that matter. We are very friendly and welcoming people, and respect from us to others is a must no matter what shop it is!

I hope I will be able to buy some cannibas in the parking lot. Those dispensaries are way too expensive due to no competition. Maybe in 2024 you can sell they can sell it in the store.
That’s the plaza a block away, near House of Vape. Try that one tobacco shop near Home Depot in Alexandria, I heard they got the best marijuana, but can’t be 100% sure!
The only thing I have to say is how much I really miss Kmart. It’s great that we have nice people who are shop owners but there isn’t much left in Annandale that caters to the greater needs of residents. Need a new pair of shoes, jeans, shirt, etc. – drive to Fairfax, Tyson’s or Springfield.
Umm – how about the Thrift Store, right across the street from Smoke and Vapor Planet? They often don’t know what they have there. An enterprising young side hustler could, for instance, go buy 10 Johnston and Murphy shirts for around $100, and sell those online for 4-8x and make mucho dinero.

I’ve been living here for over 70 years for nearly all my life and I must say that if you equate a single business or a marvelous smoke shop opening up being “trashy,” than Annandale was beyond trashy to begin with, and Annandale is considered a good suburb to others in Northern Virginia. You’d be surprised to learn that nearly everyone in the great State of Virginia and Annandale smokes. You should move elsewhere since you are living in the Tobacco Capitol of the world. Therefore, Smoke & Vapor Planet is a great addition to our area in my opinion and I’m super happy to have them open. Have a huge party coming up? Get an awesome cigar or a box of cigars and smoke them with everyone. Want to quit smoking cigarettes? Get a vape to gradually quit. Have muscle pain? Grab some CBD to cure the ailing pain. Your stove that you used to use in your ancient times 100 years ago doesn’t work? Get some Stove Fuel and solve your issue. These are some of the reasons I’ve went to a smoke shop that was in another suburb nearby because Annandale previously didn’t have one. Now I have no reason to go anywhere because Smoke & Vapor Planet has me covered on all my needs!

I may not be quite as old as you are, but I have lived in Virginia nearly my entire life and I remember when that statement was true. However I’d say that time was at least 30 years ago, if not more. I lived in the heart of tobacco country and I know what it looks (and smells) like when “nearly everyone” smokes. This sure ain’t it.

I agree with HR. Just the other day I was talking to one of my neighbors and he made the observation that he hasn’t seen anyone in our neighborhood smoking. I thought about it and he’s right – we don’t find cigarette butts on the sidewalk or in our parking lot, and you can sit on your deck without smelling smoke puffing from your neighbors.

Smoke & Vapor Planet is an awesome Vape Shop and Smoke Shop that I visited last week in Annandale! Happy they’re now open. I read more about them on their website smokevaporpla.net and gave them a shot, and was super happy with my visit. The people here should try their CBD so they could relax a little more!
Or they should just not take any drugs, including CBD. Amazing what you can do when your mind is clear and you aren’t wasting your money or time on bad habits.

Smoke & Vapor Planet has everything you can imagine, amazing customer service and very knowledgeable employees, a huge selection of products. Sabih was super nice when I went in and took care of me with a great deal, answered all my questions, and ensured that I was 100% happy. Happy they opened up and you should be happy too because I don’t ever need to drive somewhere else to get my vaping and smoking products!!

Sabih was truly a kind person when I visited, and took care of me with my purchase. I’ve been a reader of Annandale Today for years and I have never seen such an overwhelming amount of support for a new business opening. Hey listen, I’m not for vaping and tobacco, but if its legal and its what people like and its what makes them happy, I’m all for it. There’s a lot of misery in this world, specifically in your comment. I’m not sure why you feel the need to out of your way to say they are bogus reviews and it sounds like your one of their competitors if you feel the need to go out of your way to read all of the reviews and say this.
