ATF offers reward for robbery information

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of gang members responsible for several 7-Eleven robberies throughout the D.C. area. 

Detectives with the Fairfax County Police Department are investigating two armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores connected to this gang.

On April 19, a man displayed a handgun at the 7-Eleven at 4818 Beauregard St. in Lincolnia and took cash from the register and the clerk’s wallet.

A similar robbery took place on April 12 at a 7-Eleven at 7330 Richmond Highway in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County.
