[Updated] Multiple suspects stormed the 7-Eleven at 4818 Beauregard St. in Lincolnia shortly after 3 a.m. today and broke into two ATMs, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. The suspects implied they had a gun, threatened an employee, and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, possibly in a gray BMW with Virginia tags TNV1895. There were no injuries.

A few minutes before that incident, three suspects tried to forcibly access an ATM at the TD Bank at 6566 Little River Turnpike in Lincolnia. They were unsuccessful and no money was taken. Detectives believe both incidents are related.

There were two ATM thefts last week. One was at a 7-Eleven at 6147 Franconia Road in Kingstowne. The other was at a Burke and Herbert Bank at 5519 Franconia Road.

  1. Thank you for reporting this news.

I wish I could say that I am confident that today’s elections will lead to better enforcement of the laws, better prosecution of those who violate the laws, and a better criminal justice system for the people of Fairfax County.
