BBQ restaurant coming to Annandale

A new restaurant coming to the Bradlick Shopping Center in Annandale called Supreme Barbeque will offer such American favorites as pork ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, jerked chicken, and beef brisket.

Co-owner Rafael Soriano hopes it will open at the end of December.

Soriano also co-owns Supreme Barbeque franchises (formerly known as Leon’s Barbecue) on Florida Avenue in Washington, D.C., and Lanham, Md., in Prince George’s County. He is planning another one in Clinton, Md.

The Annandale location is at 6920-J Braddock Road between Pho Cong Ly Noodle & Grill and Vino’s Barber. It’s a few feet from Dollar Tree, which remains closed since a vehicle crashed into the store in early October.

There’s a sign on the Supreme Barbecue storefront asking job applicants to call 301-807-4422 or 301-332-9711.

  1. Oh HELL yeah. Even if it's just OK there's no BBQ that's super close. Hope they make themselves available over Uber eats/etc. too!

  2. Some mixed reviews on Yelp for both the DC and Lanham locations. At least I will come out to support the new place when it opens. If it goes beyond a soft opening, it may have a chance but as we know, restaurants in that center come and go quickly! There's always Rocklands in Alexandria if you're up for the drive. Call ahead there works great and the food is outrageously good!
