Casa D’Mama Pizzaria, an Annandale mainstay for the past 45 years or so, appears to be permanently closed.

The family-operated restaurant at 7406 Little River Turnpike specialized in New York-style pizza, subs, calzones, and Italian and Greek entrees.

The door is locked, and the phone number is not in service. The Casa d’Mama website says “online ordering is temporarily unavailable.” The restaurant’s Facebook page hasn’t been updated since 2021.

  1. Great people run that restaurant. Going to miss them terribly. Always served up good food with a smile and friendly manner.

  2. I dined and carried out at Casa d’ Mama for over 40 years. Will surely miss their pizza, steak and cheese sandwiches, their calzones, etc., but most of all I’ll miss George and his always jovial disposition. Happy trails Mr. G…

  3. It went downhill after it was sold around the pandemic time. Two subsequent owners changed the menu and it no longer catered solely to Italian food longtime customers. The last owner made it to basically a bar where the beer flowed freely and it seemed kind of shady.
