Falls Church Distillers now makes hand sanitizer

Michael Paluzzi of Falls Church Distillers. The boxes are full of ingredients for hand sanitizer.

Instead of making vodka, gin, and other spirits, Falls Church Distillers is using its equipment to make hand sanitizer – another product
much in demand during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Sales have been astounding,” says owner Michael Paluzzi. The
first batch of 300 gallons sold out in five hours. He expects another 1,000
gallons of hand sanitizer will be ready this week.

The Aim High brand of sanitizer is 95 percent alcohol from
corn whiskey, plus glycerine and a blend of essential oils from the doTERRA
company. Aim High is an Air Force slogan and reflects Paluzzi’s background as part
of a three-generation Air Force family.

Orders can only be accepted
via email, [email protected], or phone, 703-858-9186. In-person sales are not allowed.
Aim High hand sanitizer is $12 for a 32-ounce bottle, $21
for 64 ounces, and $38 for a gallon.
