Landlord hopes to find a restaurant tenant for a building being renovated in Lincolnia

This building is at the intersection of Little River Turnpike and Valley Street.

The new owner of 6499 Little River Turnpike in Lincolnia is renovating the property and hopes to lease it to a restaurant.

“I want to bring something unique to this location, something we don’t already have in Annandale,” says Jay Jasany. The building has long been vacant, following a succession of Korean restaurants.

Jasany is adding a new section in the back of the building and would like to have rooftop dining. The contractor hopes to complete construction in four or five months.

Jasany has owned DNV Check Cashing at 7314 Little River Turnpike in Annandale for the past 20 years or so. He says if the new tenant doesn’t want to lease the whole building, he would move his check-cashing business to the new addition at the rear.

Employees and customers of DNV complain about the lack of sufficient parking, he says. If the new tenant wants the whole building, DNV would stay put.

  1. The zip code for 6499 Little River Turnpike is 22312, because it’s not in Annandale; it’s in Alexandria.

  2. We have recently closed our restaurant in Dupont circle, and are looking for something closer to our homes in Alexandria. What are your leasing requirements?
