The Lincolnia community had its first festival last year and

When the Kisima Academy was established in 2006, by a Kenyan
couple, it consisted of three mud huts with no electricity or running water. Volunteers and donors have added a classroom a year. The school now serves
275 students, ages 4-14, including 125 orphans.

Funds for the Kisima Academy are donated through a local charity
called For the Kids International. Lefbom visits every year along with other
members of John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Annandale, bringing supplies,
clothing, laptops, and recreational equipment like jump ropes and balls for the
children.
