Man arrested for attempted abduction in Annandale
Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Sex Crimes Squad have arrested a man in connection with an attempted abduction and an indecent exposure incident that occurred on June 21 in Wakefield Park in Annandale.
After a canvass of the area and a review of surveillance footage, police identified Moises Rico Rosales, 35, of Annandale, as the suspect. He was located in the 4700 block of Americana Drive at about 1 p.m. on June 23 and taken into custody.

Rico Rosales was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with Abduction with the Intent to Defile and Indecent Exposure. He is being held without bond.
According to a report by 7News, Rico Rosales had been charged with two counts of distributing and selling Schedule I and II drugs in July 2024.
