Man arrested for attempted child abduction
Police arrested a man for entering an apartment in Annandale late at night and attempting to abduct a sleeping child in Annandale.
The incident happened at 4 a.m. on June 15 in the 7500 block of Little River Turnpike, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.
The mother of a 4-year-old girl woke up when she heard the shaking of window blinds and her daughter crying. She discovered the living room window open and her daughter on the floor. The girl told her mother someone had grabbed her.
Officers from the West Springfield Police District searched the area but did not find the suspect. A fingerprint recovered at the scene led detectives to identify the offender as Hyrum Baquedano Rodriguez, 24.
He was arrested on June 16 for burglary of an occupied dwelling and attempted abduction of a juvenile. He is being held on no bond.
According to the Fairfax Times, Baquedano Rodriquez, of Annandale, was arrested last July for breaking into Emet Mortgage at 7619 Little River Turnpike in Annandale. He was charged with burglary and possession of burglarious tools.
ICE tried to deport him multiple times. I wonder if he will be deported now, or let out on the streets again.
