Man arrested for multiple burglaries

Fairfax County Police detectives from the Fugitive Tracking and Apprehension Team arrested the man wanted for burglarizing a plumbing supply store on General Washington Drive in Mason District and multiple burglaries across the county.
FCPD detectives, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested Brian Serious, 29, in Clinton, Md. The police are continuing to seek the public’s assistance in identifying the other suspect involved in the burglaries.
The two were caught on camera stealing power tools and cash from a store in the 5600 block of General Washington Drive at 2 a.m. on July 20.
Serious and his accomplice are also suspects in 14 commercial burglaries in Merrifield, Chantilly, and Springfield.
Serious is being held at the Prince George’s County Jail. He is awaiting extradition back to Fairfax County, where he will be served 25 felony warrants.
