Mason District Restaurant Week is Sept. 8-15
Mason District’s first-ever Restaurant Week starts Sunday, Sept. 8, and runs through Sept. 15.
Nine restaurants are participating, and a few more might be added. Some restaurants will offer limited set meals and others will have discounts and special deals.
Mason District Restaurant Week is hosted by the Crossroads + Corners Coalition (C3) and Mason Supervisor Andres Jimenez. C3 was formerly known as the Bailey’s Crossroads/Seven Corners Revitalization Corporation.
Here’s the lineup:

Can we please get a “Police Week” in the Mason District where FFX County police enforce the laws on drug possession (Culmore), gangs (Culmore), non-permitted markets/stores (Culmore), public indecency (start with the encampment that’s still present at Brook Dr & Patric Henry Dr.), and reckless driving (Rte 50, Glen Carlyn, Columbia Pike, and Rte 7 around Baileys). For goodness sake, school is now in session and the kids of all income levels deserve an environment free from drugs, gangs, violence and general crime.
I miss respectful attitudes and general civic responsibility. Relics of a bygone era.
Absolutely agree. Despite efforts to paint Mason District as a “cultural hub,“ it seems to me that crime, disregard for property/zoning rules and downgrading recreation opportunities mark the culture in Mason District more than art shows and restaurant weeks. Those are certainly nice little amenities , but hardly make up for the serious problems the district faces.
