Metropolitan Orthodontics signs on as a Taste of Annandale sponsor
Metropolitan Orthodontics sees the value in participating in community events. The practice has signed on as one of the first sponsors of the 2023 Taste of Annandale to introduce its services to a wider community, says owner Kristin Nelson.
The Taste of Annandale, scheduled for April 29, is a community festival with live entertainment, children’s programming, food and other vendors, a 5K race, and much more.
Sponsorship applications are being accepted through March 3.
The sooner you apply, the more publicity you’ll generate for your business or organization. If you wait too long, you might be out of luck, as space is limited.
Metropolitan Orthodontics, at 8815 Lee Highway in Merrifield, offers clear aligners, metal braces in various colors, teeth whitening, night guards, and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) repairs to relieve jaw pain.
Braces are important to fix one’s bite, stabilize the teeth, and improve self-esteem, Nelson says. No one should be reluctant to smile.
The practice serves children and adults, from age 5 to 80+. Insurance covers treatments in some cases.
Nelson had been a practicing orthodontist for four years when she founded Metropolitan Orthodontics in 2018.
As the sole orthodontist at Metropolitan, she says the practice offers “personalized care, a friendly staff, and the best treatment in the most efficient way.”
Nelson hopes to expand Metropolitan’s reach beyond its immediate neighborhood next to the Mosaic District.
“We’re excited to be part of the Taste of Annandale,” she says. At the festival, Metropolitan Orthodontics will have a table with a spinning wheel and raffle offering great prizes.
