Model homes open at Graham Park Plaza

The three homes on the right are already occupied.

The model homes at the Townhomes at Graham Park officially opened on Feb. 25.

The community, developed by EYA, will have 172 homes. It is expected to be completed in fall 2024, although 72 homes have already been sold and three are occupied.

A living room in one of the model homes features large windows and a view of Route 50.

The community is located on Arlington Boulevard in the Falls Church area of Mason District on land that was formerly part of the Graham Park Plaza shopping center.

The homes are selling for $700,000 up to $1 million for the largest model with all the upgrades and extras.

Homeowners would be part of an HOA with a monthly fee of $175 covering maintenance of the common grounds, trash collection, and snow removal.

The names of the homes and streets at the Townhomes at Graham Park Plaza reflect the location as the site of the Falls Church Air Park, which closed in 1961.

A playground is under construction.

There are three models.

  • The Belair has 1,130 to 1,480 square feet, two to three bedrooms, and two and a half to three and a half bathrooms. The base price is $669,900.
  • The Cessna, at 1,280 to 1,690 square feet, has the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms and is priced at $744,900.
  • The Douglas (starting at $864,900) has 1,850 to 2,350 square feet, three to five bedrooms, and two and a half to four and a half bathrooms.

Each home has a two-car garage. There are 102 guest parking spaces and two electric vehicle charging stations. The property has a green space and playground.

A top-floor sitting area opens onto a terrace.

Optional features include a loft level with a rooftop terrace, linear fireplace, security system, and smart home technology. Homeowners can pay extra for upgraded flooring, tiles, appliances, cabinets, lighting fixtures, and stair rails.

  1. Only two electric charging stations? Given the price of the homes, there are likely many more hybrid and electric vehicles in these families.
