VDOT to redo King Arthur Road Bridge
The Virginia Department of Transportation is preparing to rehabilitate the bridge on King Arthur Road over Accotink Creek and the Cross County Trail. Starbucks closed for renovations
The Starbucks on Columbia Pike in Barcroft Plaza is temporarily closed, as of today, for a major interior renovation. The store is scheduled to reopen on Sept. 3.
Tony Moly is closing
Tony Moly, the cosmetics store next to the 7-Eleven on Hummer Road in Annandale, is closing. Signs on the storefront say it’s only open on weekends and “everything must go.” Tony Moly opened in 2014. The shop specializes in skincare products and makeup from Korea.
Rotary Club seeks volunteers to assemble school supply kits
The Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads invites community members to help put together school supplies for kids tomorrow. A man shot his mother, then shot himself at the Woodlake Towers Condominium on Arlington Boulevard in Seven Corners this afternoon.
