Phone store robbed at gunpoint

The scene of the crime.

Two armed suspects robbed a Boost Mobile store at gunpoint at 6531 Little River Turnpike in Lincolnia at about 11:30 a.m. on July 25, Romeo reports on X.

They pepper-sprayed one employee and ordered the employee and a customer to lie on the floor face down, says police spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Epperson.

The suspects were described as black males wearing ski masks and gloves.

They fled in a silver Mitsubishi Galant. The FCPD helicopter assisted in the search, but the vehicle was not found.

  1. Has anyone talked about how terrible Fairfax County police department is with catching criminals who commit crimes against businesses? Break-in and enter larceny, shoplifting, and now armed robbery involving helicopters, still with no avail of catching thieves and robberers? I’m starting to wonder how FCPD has had a “shortage” of police officers for so long, maybe it is intentional because the police department is corrupt and accepts bribes? This could be said from the prostitution cover=up a while back which shows it is possible to penetrate the police department? How many police officers are paid-off and who are they paid-off by?

How the F&*K can two guys commit an armed robbery involving a helicopter chase and the helicopter does not spot them? I’m confused is this a jewelry store heist or bank robbery you see in the movies where robberers are super skilled, highly trained, and very intelligent? I don’t think so. I think the police officers are corrupt and I think the journalist behind Annandale today should interview local businessmen and businesswomen via investigative journalism to help uncover how corrupt Fairfax County Police Department truly is. That would be earth-shattering journalism

    1. Two facts for you: Annandale Today is a blog (not a newspaper) and, yes, two people can hide from a helicopter.

Take your conspiracy theories and your self-entitlement somewhere else.

  2. It’s not corrupt officers. Rather it’s a lack of support from the elected politicians on the Board of Supervisors and particularly Steve Descano, the elected Commonwealth Attorney (prosecuting attorney). The Board is not conducting oversight of the Commonwealth Attorney. As the Commonwealth Attorney prefers not to press charges for property crimes, or other offenses that he believes are low level offenses – in the concept of equitable justice given his personal perception of bias by law enforcement, regardless of the extensive training Fairfax provides to law enforcement, or whom may actually be involved in a crime. The cops know that the Commonwealth Attorney is not going to support them with prosecution of perpetrators for many crimes, and he has both a proclivity and track record of binging charges against police officers for doing their job. Why would any cop investigate and pursue a criminal if it is not going to be prosecuted and take a criminal off the streets. Thanks Fairfax county voters for re-electing a pro-crime and lower quality of life for everyone Commonwealth Attorney.
