The drama is about a 16-year-old gifted and charming girl named
Palki, who is preparing for marriage and lives in a village in Bangladesh. The
lives of Palki and her sister are filled with contrasts – happiness and sorrow,
laughter and tears. The show explores the relationships among the siblings and
their mother as the dreams and expectations of Palki evolve in a story embedded
in mystery and surprise.

The show is family friendly, says the producer, Andy Carluccio.
There are some dark themes, however, so he would give it a PG-13 rating.
