Radley Acura proposes adding a carwash to a future garage

The Fairfax County Planning Commission on Feb. 25 recommended approval of a proposal to add a carwash facility at Radley Acura in Bailey’s Crossroads.

The Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hold a hearing on the proposal on March 17.

In 2022, the BoS approved a rezoning application to allow the dealership, located at 5823 Columbia Pike, to build a three-level parking garage and an additional customer service center. Those facilities were never built.

Radley Management LLC now wants to move forward with the 305-space parking garage at the rear of the existing showroom. The garage would be restricted to employees; it would not be accessible to the public.

Portions of the lower garage level would be enclosed in order to use that space for vehicle storage and an ancillary car wash and detailing facility. The additional uses would add 16,600 square feet of gross floor area to the dealership.
