Red Crab opens Friday in Lincolnia

Red Crab has a nautical theme.

Red Crab Juicy Seafood will open Friday, June 17, at the Plaza at Landmark in Lincolnia.

The restaurant, at 6244 Little River Turnpike, lets diners build their own seafood boil combo or order ala carte seafood meals.

There are a dozen options for the seafood boil, including blue crab, shrimp, mussels, and lobster tail. Diners choose the spiciness level and sauce (cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter, or a combination of all three). Seafood boils come with corn on the cob and potato.

Some of the other menu items include fried shrimp baskets, fried fish baskets, clam chowder, broiled lobster tail, oyster po’ boy, and crab cakes.

There are 11 Red Crab locations in the United States. The Lincolnia restaurant is the first one on the East Coast.

The hours are noon-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and noon-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

  1. I think this is a franchise operation out of FL. Prices are missing from their menu which is not a good sign. Hoping they offer maybe some grand opening deal on boil bags!

  2. When will they place a decent mainstream restaurant in this area? We need new vision and for that, a visionary. Penny Gross: not good for Fairfax County.
