Regency Furniture opened April 25 in the space formerly occupied by Value City Furniture in Bailey’s Crossroads.

The new furniture store, at 5516 Leesburg Pike, sells the same kind of furnishings, “but at a higher level of quality and at reasonable prices,” says Sammy Ayyad, regional manager at the Regency corporate office in Brandywine, Md.

The store has a wide selection of sofas, loveseats, chairs, bedroom sets, coffee tables, dining sets, office furnishings, and décor accessories.

The store offers financing, delivery, and setup services.

The first Regency Furniture store opened in Fairfax in 1989, Ayyad says. That store is no longer open.

The company operates three other stores in Virginia (in Woodbridge, Sterling, and Fredericksburg), seven in Maryland, four in Pennsylvania, and two in New Hampshire.
